Autumn Fleet is the head coach of the Hendrickson High School Silver Dancers. In the past, her team had worked with another fundraising platform that focused on text message outreach to donors. Q: What are the benefits of using Snap! Raise\u02bcs online fundraising platform? Are you raising more with Snap! Raise than with your previous fundraising approach?\u00a0<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A: <\/span>We raised around $4,000 more than we did with the previous fundraising platform we used.<\/span><\/b> I think the main difference in the fundraisers was the use of sending out the fundraising information through email versus only text messages. Snap! Raise prioritizes each team member giving 20 email addresses and this approach made a big difference.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Q: What has your group been able to do with the money raised during your Snap! Raise fundraiser?\u00a0<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A: We were able to cover a portion of the team’s trip. <\/span>Through this trip, the team will be able to build relationships, gain more dance education, and simply get to have fun.<\/span><\/b> The money raised will also go towards team needs like costumes and contest fees.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Q: What recommendations or tips would you have for a fellow coach or group leader when running a Snap! Raise fundraiser?\u00a0<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A: I would encourage other coaches to continue reminding your team members to share the fundraiser with people in their lives. <\/span>I think it helps to tell the team members that they are giving people an opportunity to practice generosity.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Q: What\u2019s one thing you think other people should know about Snap! Raise?\u00a0<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A: Our Snap! Raise representative was a really helpful communicator and kept me up to date on all that was going on with our fundraiser status. <\/span>The Snap! Mobile app made it really easy and convenient to see which team members were gaining donors and how much we were raising.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After surpassing their fundraising goal and successfully raising over $13,000, Autumn and the Silver Dancers are looking forward to running their fundraiser with Snap! Raise again in 2025.
