This hurts the planet in so many ways. Once items like uniforms, cleats, and protective gear end up in the landfill, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.planetaid.org\/blog\/8-little-known-facts-about-our-clothing-habits#:~:text=While%20it%20may%20seem%20harmless,are%20emitted%20into%20the%20atmosphere.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">they can take 30, 40, or even 1,000 years to decompose.
